From the broadcast the weekend of March 21st & 22nd, 2009:

Crist Family Our Featured Artists on this program were the Crist Family. If you ever get a chance to hear these folks in concert, please do. You'll enjoy the family harmonies they provide. The age span in an honest-to-goodness family group always make it interesting, too, for all ages. Songs on this program came from three different CDs -- their "Classics" CD, their current "Livin' With The Light On" CD and a new radio song from their "Declaration" CD which will be released next month. I especially enjoyed the song "Lift Up The Cross," not only because of the timely nature of this song as we approach Easter, but because it's a good encouragement (an admonition, really) to tell others about the centrality of the cross to the Gospel of Christ.

Click for 2009 Great Annual Giveaway Information This was Week #3 (of 4) of our 2009 Great Annual Giveaway. I hope you've been entering each week. One entry is enough to be in the running to win, but if you enter once each week it quadruples your chances of winning when our computerized system draws the winners. Remember that you need to know the "Key Word" or "Key Phrase" each week to validate your entry. (On this program is was a two-word phrase.) If you missed a program (shame on you!) you can still answer if you can find someone who heard the program and will tell you the key word/phrase. But don't ask the station and don't ask us -- we aren't allowed to tell you after the broadcast.

"Paul, if I win the cruise and I'd really prefer to go to one of the other events offered, can I take one of those instead?"  Sure. I don't know why you wouldn't want the cruise, but, yes, since the Grand Prize winner is the first winner drawn, you have the right to choose one of the other prizes instead. We'll work with you. So please don't make your reluctance or inability to go on the cruise a reason for not entering. Remember, there are hundreds of other prizes.

Speaking of the cruise, there are about twice as many top groups on Templeton Tours' Singing At Sea cruise as there used to be. That's why I don't recite the list on the air. There are just so many! But let me give you a list here: Perrys, Inspirations, Booth Brothers, Legacy Five, Pfeifers, Primitive Quartet, Jeff & Sheri Easter, the Isaacs, Greater Vision, Gold City, Squire Parsons, Jerry Goff & Little Jan, Browders, Triumphant Quartet, Tribute Quartet, Whisnants, New Desire, Royalaires, Browns, Geraldine & Ricky, the Dills, Brian Free & Assurance, Crist Family, Rochesters, Soul'd Out, Faith Trio, Kingsmen, Mark Trammell Trio, Karen Peck & New River, Squire Parsons. Oh, I almost forgot our buddy Aaron Wilburn. We really appreciate Templeton Tours' willingness to provide the cruise as a prize each year for the past quarter-century or so! By the way, if you're thinking about going on that cruise, please call Templeton Tours right away at 1-800-334-2630. It's selling out fast for 2010. If you book the cruise and later win it, Templeton Tours will convert your previous booking to the prize.

I loved the story I read on the air from the lady whose mother sang "Jesus Paid It All" when she was saved. If you have a story about how a Gospel song or hymn is extra special to you, I'd love to hear it.
